This theme wasn’t tested for WPML compatibility. It means that we cannot predict how it will behave when translating more advanced elements like the slider.
What should work with any problems:
You will be able to translate your posts, pages, categories, tags, menus, images, custom posts and taxonomies, even custom fields.
But if you want to 100% sure that all elements of your theme will work with WPML you should pick a theme that is WPML compatible:

Our aim is to have different language versions of our origin page. That seems to be no problem as long as the content stays the same with every language. However we need to offer different products for each language version.
Is it possible to offer products/sites A,B,C on the English page but only product A and B on the German version? So can I simply adjust the content I’d like to publish depending on the chosen language?

Hey Phil, yes, you will be able to handle this with WPML. I’m not sure if you refer to WooCommerce producs, but the same here: also WooCommerce Multilingual now allows you to have different products in different languages, without the need to have the „original“ product set in the site’s default language.

these are two different plugins so you cannot use this plugin

to migrate a site handled by mqTranslate to WPML. Please note that we are not developing the ‚qTranslate Cleanup and WPML Import‘ plugin any more.

Kann mann oder muss man alle Bilder dann in 3 Sprachen benennen, sprich wenn Bilder in der Gallerie geöffnet werden dann haben die ja einen Namen für den Besucher, damit die Besucher dann in Deutsch/English/Türkisch auch das richtige lesen können, sollten die Bilder einen Namen haben.

nun wird bei diesem theme die Titelseite unter Design > Anpassung bzw Theme-Options
die Texte für die Titelseite eingegeben. Hier kann trotz installation eines anderen Multilanguage tools keine Übersetzung eingegeben werden.
der theme Hersteller sagt die Übersetzung funktioniert mit wpml. allerdings habe ich schon andere multilanguage plugins getestet, und alles seiten u Beiträge lassen sich übersetzen und zuweisen, nur die Titelseite macht Probleme.
können sie mir da eine Antwort geben wie WPML hier reagiert? gibt es bereits Erfahrungen mit diesem theme?

I’ve got two questions:
1.) I’m a webdesigner and I bought a lifetime licence a year ago for a certain client’s website. I bought it under my name. Now I will probably have another client who wants to have a bilingual website: Will I have to buy a new licence for this client or can I use the licence I’v already bought also for the new client?
2.) If I had to buy a new licence: The new project will mainly require the page and menu translation. But it can happen that the header shall also be bilingual, or that there a two different logos with texts in these two languages. Would that be possible? And if yes: Would I have to by the CMS Version for it or would the blogversion bei sufficient?

2. yes, this is possible but only with the CMS or Lifetime version since the „String translation“ module is required to handle this. The details will depend on the theme used but this is possible.

As a second language, I will use englisch.
I will make now some blog post in german, but Could be that not all those Blog post will be translated in english.
Will this post stay hidden on the english language?
Same vice versa. I would like to make a Blog post in english (remember default language is here german). Can I do it without need a blog post on the default language? Or WPML always need a default language post to show a post?
Other question: is it possible to use different Domains name to redirect at the language? for example:

1. Yes, WPML allows that. You don’t have to translate all posts/pages. You can have some posts in German not translated to English and vice versa.
