Translating WooCommerce Tab Manager with WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce

Learn how to translate the tabs you create with WooCommerce Tab Manager into more languages using WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce.

Required Plugins

  • WooCommerce
  • WooCommerce Tab Manager
  • WPML
  • WPML String Translation
  • WPML Multilingual & Multicurrency for WooCommerce & Multicurrency

You can install all WPML components using the OTGS Installer plugin.

Translating Per-Product Tabs

To translate a custom per-product tab, you simply need to translate the product. During translation, WPML will automatically translate the per-product tab for you.

  1. Go to WPML → Translation Dashboard and scroll down to the Products section.
  2. Select the product that your per-product tab is attached to.

  1. Choose a translation method and click to Translate your content.

When you view your translated product on the frontend, you’ll also see your per-product tabs translated.

Translating Global Tabs

To translate a custom global tab:

  1. Go to WPML → Translation Dashboard and scroll down to the Tabs section.
  2. Select the global tabs you want to translate.

  1. Choose a translation method and click to Translate your content.

Remember to also translate any products that use the global tab. When you view the translations of these products on the frontend, you’ll see the global tabs translated as well.
