Problem 1:
WPML Language Switcher didn't show on shop page.
Solution 1:
The slugs for shop page in different languages was misconfiguered, the shop page slug was identical in different languages (English, Russian) and to fix that I specified different slugs for each language (English, Russian, Estonian) after that the language switcher appeared.
Problem 2:
The footer on the shop page had a different styling other than other pages on the website.
Solution 2:
This is not related to the WPML plugin, but during investigation I could fix by applying the following steps:
1. The site was using Divi Child Theme
2. In the Divi theme builder I added a new template that has the "Global Footer" element and included WooCommerce "Shop" page to that template
3. I cleared the cache including minified css and js filed using the WP Fastest Cache plugin which was already activated on the site
4. On the frontend I visit the Shop Page and the Footer styling is exactly the same as other pages on the site
Problem 3:
Client got the notice "Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called..."
Solution 3:
This also seemed to be unrelated specificly to WPML, and other plugins names (checkout-files-upload-woocommerce and qty-increment-buttons-for-woocmmerce) were mentioned in the notice message.
The fastest solution for this is to disable "DEBUG_DISPLAY" on the site from the "wp-config.php" file. We also have an open errata for that case: https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/ which client can check for more information
Problem: You are experiencing issues with your multilingual WooCommerce site after changing the default language and removing others. Specifically, when switching to English, the Estonian flag still appears, and many pages were not automatically translated into Czech. Solution: To address the flag issue, you need to disconnect and then reconnect the languages, ensuring to mark Czech as the original language upon reconnection. Unfortunately, there is no straightforward method provided by WPML to change the source language in the database directly without custom scripting, which is outside our support scope. For the pages that were not translated into Czech, ensure that the automatic translation feature is properly configured and functioning.
