When translating the header including the menu's, I noticed that even though the URL's are correctly translated (based on the info in ATE), the links are seemingly random: some menu items point to page A instead B, then three of them to page C etc.

Where can I change the URL's the navigation/menu items point to? I tried of course to translate exactly those (Translation Dashboard -> Navigation Menus) but the URLs are all OK there. The front-end however has different links.

I noticed that WPML only "sees" part of the menu I want to create.
See images. Menu has 14 items, ATE only reports 6.

What I already tried:
- complete reset of WPML (following the steps at https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/ including deleteing translations) -> at which point to my surprise I noticed translations are still "cached", because when I translate the menu, the translations are already there.
- flush cache incl. CDN

Also noticed that URLs are not shown in ATE, even though "Which types of links should appear in the editor?" is set to "Show all links". Only when I enter "http" in the filter, the URLs become visible.

When automatically translating a page, many links simply pointed to my contact page - seemingly random.

I feel totally *not* in control of what WPML is doing for our website, and that feels bad.
