Background of the issue:
I have been trying to automatically translate one of our web pages on the staging site, which is 'hidden link'.

Symptoms:
The editor is taking too long to respond, and I am receiving error messages saying 'Unable to retrieve job details' and 'File size limit exceeded'.

Questions:
Could you please help with this issue?
What other steps can I consider?

Hi there, and thank you for reaching out.

Before this thread is assigned to my colleagues, I would like to offer some initial guidance or possible solutions.

This issue often arises when the page you are trying to translate contains content that causes the XLIFF file (sent to the translator) to exceed 1MB. As a result, the translator cannot process the file, leading to this error.

Could you please open the default page in the editor and check for any invalid metadata, as noted in the following response?

If possible, try removing sections from the page and resending the translation. This method will help you identify which specific content is causing the XLIFF file to become larger and resulting in the issue in the Advanced Translation Editor.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. We are here to help if you need further assistance with this matter.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei
