This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to edit an internal link on their site to ensure it points to the translated content rather than the primary language content. However, the link is not pointing towards the translated content and appears greyed out in the advanced translator.
Solution:
1. We recommend checking how the link was initially added. WPML usually adjusts links automatically.
2. Try using the search function from the top of the page to locate the link.
3. For further guidance on translating links, visit the WPML documentation on translating links.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit an internal link on my site, hidden link, to ensure it points to the translated content rather than the primary language content.

Symptoms:
The internal link is not pointing towards the translated content but rather to the primary language content.

Questions:
How can I edit internal links to point to translated content using WPML? I have gone to the advanced translator and the link is not showing there (edit link is greyed out). Please see the screenshot

Hello,

it depends how it was added, in most cases WPML will automatically adjust the links.

1) Can you explain how did you add this link and from where?

2) Can you try to use search from top and see if you can find it like that?

Hi Draze,
By going to grab sceenshots for you to share with you, I think I figured out a way to fix my problem. I have to edit the hyperlink on the secondary language woocommerce product editing page in the Product Short Description. This is where I originally inserted the link but on the primary language product editing page. I will leave this ticket open for a while in case I run into difficulties.
Thank you,
Bonnie
