This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to register a new license key for WPML because the URL of your site under development has changed, but you cannot find where to do this in the WPML installation. You are also looking for an alternative to the 'UNlink WPML' or 'UNregister wpml' plugin.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend navigating to Plugins → All Plugins and then selecting the Commercial tab. From there, you can click on "Unregister WPML" (a link on the right), where you can add the new key.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to register a new license key for WPML because the URL of my site under development has changed. I know how to do this on the WPML site but cannot find where to do this in the installation.

Symptoms:
Impossible to find where to register a new license key in the WPML installation. Help sites refer to a plugin 'UNlink WPML' or 'UNregister wpml' but that plugin does not exist.

Questions:
Where can I register a new license key in the WPML installation?
Is there an alternative to the 'UNlink WPML' or 'UNregister wpml' plugin for changing the license key?

Hi,

Please navigate to Plugins → All Plugins and then select the Commercial tab. From there, you can click on "Unregister WPML" (a link on the right, and you can add the new key.

Best regards,
Marcel

Thanks, but as I wrote in my ticket, that plugin cannot be found.
In addition, there is no "Commercial" tab under plugins either.
Can you please add a screenshot?

If WPML is active, it shouldn't display "cannot be found." Can you confirm whether WPML is currently active? This functionality is part of the core plugin, and no additional plugins are required for this step.

Best Regards,
Marcel

WPML is currently active but displays an error message (because the license is invalid). The commmercial tab is not there. This being said, it works when manually going to plugin-install.php?tab=commercial so the issue is resolved.

Thanks for the information! Are you hosting with WordPress.com or Pantheon? Some hosting providers replace our "Commercial" tab with their own code, which might be why it's not appearing.

Best regards,
Marcel
