Also, I have scanned vehica theme and now I have multiple unwanted strings in ATE. I have removed them from string translation, but are still visible in ATE. How to remove them?
I have send you the related screenshots - most of the strings are duplicated or even you can see them three or four times. I want to have only the content itself, once - without {{text}}, links, phone numbers etc. All above have appeared after I have scanned vehica in themes and plugins localization. I have deleted all from string translation, but are still visible in ATE (I wanted a fresh start as I was not sure if this process is ok).
For example, I have created a new page hidden link, translated from hidden link, to check if this new fields are working. They do, but the css is not applying, why?

Thank you for the details. As per the screenshot, you are translating the Homepage (Acasă), and it is not fully translated into the secondary language. This can cause translation sync issues, especially if you update the original language page while the translation is still in progress.
In such cases, the removed or changed content may reappear in the translation editor.
So, please ensure the translation is complete (indicated by a pencil icon) before making any updates to the original page. Refer to the attached image for more information.
This is not answering my question about all this unwanted strings in ATE - I have string X4 within the editor. I did not complete the translations as I don't want to spend the credits on all extra strings. Can we remove them before translation?
Thank you for the updates. Please try the following steps after taking a site backup and check if you are getting the expected results. For more details, refer to the attached image.
1) Visit WPML >> Translation Management >> Translation Jobs
2) Delete the translation jobs for the Homepage
3) Visit Pages >> All Pages
4) Open the Homepage for editing in the original language
5) Make minor changes to the page contents
6) Save the changes
7) Open the page translation for editing
