Background of the issue:
I am experiencing an issue with WPML where tags are inconsistently handled in translations. Sometimes the paragraph tags are preserved, while other times they are disregarded, causing formatting issues in the translated content. The only consistent workaround I’ve found is to make a minor change to the original content, which forces WPML to reapply the translation and restore the paragraph tags. However, given the large number of pages on my site, manually updating each page and its translation is not feasible. This issue can be seen on the following pages: hidden link, hidden link, hidden link, hidden link, hidden link, hidden link, hidden link.
Symptoms:
Random deletion of tags in translations, causing formatting issues. The issue is inconsistent, with paragraph tags sometimes preserved and other times disregarded.
Questions:
Can you provide a solution to bulk update translations or fix the formatting issue?
To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.
So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link
I can see the issue, the issue is happening as the whole text is joined before translating, can you unjoin the texts and translate it and see if it helps?
Also, provide me few more examples of the pages so I can test this further.
That translation is untouched both original as translation. Manually updating the original might be a fix. But we are talking about hundreds of pages. So that is really not realistic.
