Background of the issue:
I am developing a site using WordPress/WooCommerce, and I need support with mapping languages. My WordPress/WooCommerce Core language is set to English (us_EN).

Symptoms:
On the 'Edit Languages' page, there's a prompt: 'None of your content can be automatically translated until you map your default language to a supported language.'

Questions:
Why is the message about mapping the default language to a supported language shown?
How can I resolve the issue with the language mapping prompt?

Thanks for contacting us. Could you please check WPML > Translation Management > Translation Tools > Translation Services and make sure you've turned on at least one translation engine?

Many thanks. I enabled now Deepl and it seems to work. I opened the page (Translator) and saved it again. Then I moved to Languages > Edit and the message is not showing up anymore.

However, I noticed now that after saving a translation this "wheel" (loading indicator) spins forever 🙂 Attached a screenshot. Do you know why this is is not stopping to spin after a few seconds?

Many thanks

Thanks for your reply. Could you please try making minor edits to the page title of the primary language page and resend the page for translation again? Let me know if it fixes it.
