The client is unable to save settings in the WPML Media Translation section. Specifically, they are trying to uncheck the Duplicate options for media files, but after unchecking and reloading the page, the options remain checked.

We recommend navigating to WPML->Settings->Media Translation->How to handle media for new content. Here, uncheck all the options that you do not want to use and then click save. Upon reloading the page, you should notice that the options are unchecked. It\'s important to understand that the three options: <ul><li>Translate existing media in all languages</li><li>Duplicate existing media for translated content</li><li>Duplicate the featured images for translated content</li></ul>will remain checked. These settings are designed for manual operations and do not affect how new media is handled automatically. They are only applicable when you manually run these actions by clicking "START". jimmyA-10	Background of the issue: I am working on a site under development and trying to adjust settings in the Media Translation section of WPML. Specifically, I want to uncheck all the Duplicate-options. Symptoms: The settings won't save. After unchecking the options and reloading the page, the options remain checked. Questions: We have no need to have a number of media-file versions. How do I uncheck these options and save it so they stay unchecked (hidden link)?

Reload the page and you will notice that they are unchecked. The 3 options above will remain checked, but that is meant only for when you need to manually run these actions by clicking "START", they do not affect how new media is being handled. That's expected behavior, these settings are a troubleshooting feature and are meant to be used when running "START". They do not take effect on how to handle media for new content.

jimmyA-10	Aha. I thought those was for future images as well. I couldn't find anything about this in the manual... maybe I just didn't look good enough. Thanks for solving that out.
