WPML setup does not use SSL/https and duplicate protocol

Site is https The default URL has duplicate http:// and then https:// All other languages it uses http:// by default See attached screenshot. hidden link This is a problem bc e.g. our real site has non-https external requests blocked for security reasons, which will make the ?____icl_validate_domain=1 request the setup sends fail, since it will be hidden link Symptoms: Questions: Fix your code

What you refer to is only a label inside the settings which has no impact on the site URL. You can see here that the sandbox runs on "https": hidden link If a site runs on "http", then only because it does not have a valid SSL certificate. What is the actual issue that you are experiencing on your site? If the issue is that WPML can not validate the domains, please leave the checkbox for domain validation unchecked and you should be able to save the settings. Best regards Andreas

desireeM	Would it be possible for once, that the WPML supporters actually fully read and grasp the ticket and stop wasting my time even more. What do you want to do with the debug information? This error happens on your own test site hidden link How would the debug information be helpful for you? It's your own damn site...

Here is a link to a translated post on one of our sandboxes. If you use the language switcher you will see that both versions use https: hidden link --- Do you have issues on your site using https in second languages? Take note, that if your site uses different domains per language then you will need one SSL certificate per domain.
