Background of the issue:
I am trying to edit translations with WPML Translation Editor, but the strings are not translated. When I use the WordPress editor, the products are translated.

Symptoms:
WPML Translation Editor strings are not translated.

Questions:
Why are the strings not translated in WPML Translation Editor?
How can I ensure that translations appear in WPML Translation Editor?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I will do my best to assist you in resolving the issue.

This may be happening because of custom Elementor widgets. In that case, we need to add language configuration for those widgets in WPML >> Settings >> Custom XML Configuration. So they become available for translation.

Please try the steps suggested in the following documentation after a site backup, and let us know your feedback.
