Background of the issue:
I am trying to create product feeds using 'Product Feed Manager for WooCommerce' by RexThemes, which works with WPML. The issue occurs when the currency for bundle products is not being converted correctly in the product feed (Which is also translated). Single product price currency is shown correctly in the feed.

Both Single product AND bundle prices are converted and displayed correctly on both the front-end and back-end otherwise. It's only the product feed that can't read the converted price on bundle products.

Here's an example of a bundle product. hidden link (In the attached screenshot you can see the prices, the product feed has pulled.)

Symptoms:
The product feed does not pick up the converted currency for bundle products. I expected to see a price of 2304 kr in the product feed, but instead, I got 308.80, which is the EURO price.

Questions:
Why is the currency for bundle products not being converted correctly in the product feed?
How can I ensure that the product feed picks up the correct converted currency for bundle products?

I have several options when choosing which attribute the feed should pull, but none other than "Price" is working. And then it pulls the WC base currency (EURO) :/

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you.

This is the plugin we are using for feeds:

Hey there,

Thank you for waiting 🙂 To verify if it's actually a compatibility issue, I've created a Sandbox (a testing website) for you. WPML is already configured there with 2 languages. You can access it here:

hidden link

Please setup WooCommerce and WooCommerce Multilingual, with at least 2 currencies. Then, create a product and translate it. Finally, test the feed and check if the issue is also there.

Please note that only the minimum is necessary here - please don't import any content or install anything that's not related to the issue itself. Two currencies and one product should suffice. Let me know your results. I know this takes some effort, so thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Regards.

Hi there,

The bundle product plugin we are using is a paid version and is connected to worldofhandles.com.

We are so close - can you somehow identify why the price (DKK) on a bundle product (Woo's own bundle plugin) isn't converted when doing a feed (no matter the product feed plugin so far.. which points to an issue with WPML I think)

hidden link <--- It IS converted on the front-end, in basket and checkout.... but no product feed plugins can detect the converted price... when it's a bundle product.

We've only tested with Product feed plugins approved by WPML - even paid versions.

I can give you access to the site if that helps?

Hello there,

Testing that feature in the Sandbox is the most efficient way to begin, since we don't know if it's a bug on your website or a general compatibility issue. That's why I suggested it. Based on my analysis, WPML is behaving as expected, but the Product Feed plugin is not pulling the correct information from it. If the behavior is the same on the Sandbox, we can save hours looking for a bug that perhaps doesn't even exist.

Yes, please send me access to the website.

The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.

I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing access.

I'm still testing - I actually got a different problem, testing the multicurrency behavior on the testing website. I suspect that the plugin is not prepared for the scenario. Since this involves 2 plugins, I'll make further tests and possibly get a second opinion with my colleagues.

Thank you for your patience so far.

Hello,

To be able to escalate the issue, I need to better understand how you created the Feed on your website. Let me explain.

On the Sandbox, I can only generate feeds with the primary currency, regardless of language. Also, the translations don't seem to work as they do on your website (translated feeds are empty, regardless of translated products being available).

Can you please share a screen-recording (preferably using Loom - hidden link), showing how you create AND translate a feed from scratch?

The development team requires a clear way for us to reproduce the issue, so we can tackle the actual problem. I know this takes some effort, so I thank your cooperation in advance.

Regards,
