delete data does not work

I click this, it disappears, I refresh and it reappears

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

This approach won't delete some taxonomies. Kindly check this guide. (https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/deleting-languages-and-plugin-data-by-doing-a-wpml-reset-on-your-site/#step-1-remove-the-secondary-languages-and-all-existing-translations)

In order to delete the language, please check the following steps:

1- Go to WPML-> Languages-> Add/Remove languages
2- Add the deleted language
3- Go to the mentioned taxonomies and delete them manually
4- Go to WPML-> Languages-> Add/Remove languages
5- Remove the language
6- Delete it

that is wht I did.

the prompt you see only shows after a language has been deleted

not sure you're aware of that WPML mechanism or am I missing something here?

I followed the steps you outline, and only then was presented with that prompt. but then clicking on removing the remaining translations in the system does not work

I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Thanks for the access details. I checked the languages page but couldn't see the language you want to delete. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I used the steps on this page to delete all the taxonomies. (https://wpml.org/errata/taxonomies-are-not-deleted-with-the-delete-content-from-database-option/)

All of them are deleted except the "Section Category", which is the type in the Avada layouts. (hidden link)

I tried to access it using the following URL, but I couldn't do so. Please check with the Avada support team how the taxonomy could be deleted. (hidden link)
