[Resolved] Not applying the condition of layers in translation
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You have customized the display of products using layers on your site and are trying to apply conditions to these layers in different languages using WPML. The condition specified for the layer in English is not applied in Farsi and Arabic translations. It works correctly in Arabic after manual recreation, but not in Persian. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend you try the following steps: 1. Go to WPML-> Settings-> Custom Fields Translation section 2. Search for the following fields and set them to Copy: * wd_layout_type * wd_layout_conditions 3. Click Save 4. Edit the template in the default language 5. Make a minor edit and update it 6. Update its translation After these steps, the conditions and type should be copied to the translated templates.
Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it’s outdated or not applicable to your case. Background of the issue:
I have customized the display of products using layers on my site hidden link. I am trying to apply conditions to these layers in different languages using WPML.
Symptoms:
The condition specified for the layer in English is not applied in Farsi and Arabic translations. It works correctly in Arabic after manual recreation, but not in Persian.
Questions:
Why is the condition not applied to the layer in the Persian translation?
How can I ensure that the conditions for layers are applied correctly across all languages?
Thanks for the screenshots. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
I checked the site and it works fine. Also, your colleagues have never had a problem accessing the site
However, I disable the firewall plugin for a while
Please check it again and let me know if there is still a problem

3- Click Save
4- Edit the template in the default language
