Kristof

Background of the issue:
I have enabled 'Hide my backend' in the Solid Security plugin, but as I also have 'Use directory for default language' active, all possible login URLs give a 404. I have tried /slug, /nl/slug, and /en/slug. I have to disable WPML via FTP to be able to log in on the site. The site I need help with is hidden link.

Symptoms:
All possible login URLs give a 404 error when 'Hide my backend' and 'Use directory for default language' are both active.

Questions:
How can I resolve the 404 error when both 'Hide my backend' and 'Use directory for default language' are active?
Is there a way to configure WPML to work with the Solid Security plugin's 'Hide my backend' feature?

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

I can't say why the "Hide my backend" feature in the Solid Security plugin isn't working and is causing 404 errors when you activate the "Use directory for default language" option. This requires debugging of Solid Security plugin, which is outside the scope of our support.

Since this issue is likely caused by the Security plugin, have you tried contacting their support? In the meantime, I recommend deactivating one of the options.
