This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
After applying a temporary fix, the WPML String Translation interface loads but remains incomplete, with issues in selecting domains/classes. The 'String Translation table problem' reappears upon refreshing the page, indicating that the String Translation schema might not be fully created or migrated.
Solution:
We added the missing database tables and columns required for the WPML String Translation to function correctly. We recommend you verify that all necessary
wp_icl_string_*
tables and indexes are present and that WPML's internal schema/version flags are consistent. Please check your site to confirm that the issue is resolved.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should the problem persist, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
