Problem:
You are experiencing issues with WPML where some translated content does not apply correctly on the frontend. Specifically, the translated product title does not update and shows the original language title instead. Additionally, translated text rows that were previously completed and saved later become empty again.
Solution:
For the issue of the product title not updating:
1. Ensure you have a backup of your site for safety.
2. Navigate to WPML >> Support > Troubleshooting page and press the following buttons:
- Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
- Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
3. If the problem persists:
a. Open the default language product in Edit mode.
b. Make a minor change, such as adding a space or + sign in your product title.
c. Update the product.
d. Remove the change made in step 3b.
e. Update the product again.
f. Open the translated page in WPML Translation Editor, ensure the translation is 100% complete, and press the complete translation button.
4. Clear all types of site/server/CDN cache.

Hi WPML Support,

I am experiencing an issue with WPML where some translated content does not apply correctly on the frontend.

Problem 1: Product title not updating
The translated product title is entered correctly in the WPML Advanced Translation Editor and shows as 100% complete. However, on the frontend, the original language title is still displayed instead of the translated version.

Problem 2: Translated rows becoming empty
In several cases, translated text rows that were previously completed and saved later become empty again. This happens even though the translation was saved and marked as complete. I then have to re-enter the translations manually, sometimes multiple times.

This behavior appears inconsistent, but it affects both titles and regular content fields. It creates a risk of missing content on live product pages.

Environment details:

WordPress

WooCommerce

WPML (latest version)

Using Advanced Translation Editor

Theme: Blocksy (latest version)

Could you please help me understand:

Why the translated product title does not override the original title on the frontend?

Why saved translations sometimes revert to empty fields?

Please let me know if you need temporary access to the site or a staging copy for testing.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support.

- For Product title not updating problem, could you please try to follow the below steps:

1. Please take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.
2. Go to WPML >> Support > Troubleshooting page and press the below buttons:
- Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
- Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
And see if this resolves the issue.

3. If the issue persists, please follow the below procedure:

3.1. Please open the default language product in Edit mode.
3.2. Make a small change, for example, add a space or + sign in your product title.
3.3. Update the product by pressing the “Update” button.
3.4. Now, please remove that small change that did in step #3.2.
3.5. Update the product again.
3.6. Now, please try to open the translated page in WPML Translation Editor and make sure the translation is 100% complete and press the complete translation button.

4. Clear all sorts of site/server/CDN cache and see if this resolves the issue.

If it still happens, please:
1. Share the problematic product URL where the issue can be seen.
2. Are you facing this issue with only some particular product or do all products have the same issue.
