also some button strings now showing up, though elementor is said to be wpml compatible

Hello,
Could you please try out this workaround:
On the Advanced Translation Editor, in the right upper corner click the Settings icon and choose the option to switch to the legacy layout (Gen2).
Are you now able to complete the translation by translating the links as expected?
