This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing issues where your sitemaps are not working correctly on different language domains, such as receiving a 404 error when accessing the sitemap for a translated version of your site, this might be due to the taxonomy settings.
Solution:
We recommend checking if the taxonomy for your models is set to be displayed as translated. It's important to ensure that these taxonomies are not only set to be displayed as translated but are actually translated. You can do this by selecting one of the models and translating it to see if this resolves the issue.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. For further assistance, you can always contact us through the WPML support forum.

Hello,

We have a website hidden link. It runs on WPML and each language is hosted on a separate domain. For example German is located at hidden link

Our current problem is that on hidden link all sitemaps work as expected. Lets take this one for example:

hidden link

If I open same sitemap for DE domain - it will return 404 page

hidden link

However, those pages and products are translated. Let's take one product from this sitemaps:

LV - hidden link

DE - hidden link

Could you please help us to make sure that all sitemaps are working as expected?

I will attach system info

Thanks,
Vadim

Hello,

Is models a custom post type, I see it's listed here but not showing hidden link

To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.

So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.

Hi there,

I noticed that you’ve set the models taxonomy to be displayed as translated. However, it’s not actually translated but rather shown as translated. Can you take a look at one of the models and try translating it to see if it works?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks
