Background of the issue:
I am trying to use automatic translation on my website, hidden link, with WPML. My website was working fine before.

Symptoms:
I am encountering a language mapping issue where my default language, English, must be mapped to a supported language to use automatic translation, even though I have already mapped the language.

Questions:
Why is my website showing a language mapping issue despite having mapped the language?
How can I resolve the language mapping issue to use automatic translation?

Hello,

Please revise in WPML > Settings that the Advanced Translation Editor is set as the translation editor and that at least one translation engine is enabled.

Best regards
Andreas
