Background of the issue:
I've translated the complete website using WPML. We're experiencing an issue with the Elementor button and image links. They did not change during the automatically translating process and all go to the default (Dutch) language.
For example the logo images on: hidden link
And the buttons on: hidden link (Button: Discover all standard models)
Symptoms:
Elementor image and button links go to the default language instead of the translated version.
Questions:
Is there any documentation that you are following?
How can we fix this automatically?
Before your ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues, I'd like to guide you through some initial debugging steps to speed up the support process.
To begin, please follow the below steps and let me know how it goes:
1. Take a backup of your site first for safety reasons.
2. Go to the WPML >> Settings page and press the “Scan now and adjust links” button(Screenshot attached).
3. Re-save the Permalinks from the Settings >> Permalinks page by pressing the “Save Changes” button.
4. Clear all sorts of site/server/CDN cache and see if this resolves the issue.
