This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have a real estate sales website and use WPML to manage translations of your property listings in Spanish and French. When an English listing expires and is moved to draft with a redirect to the main listings page, the translated pages do not automatically redirect and remain active.
Solution:
To ensure that translated pages redirect similarly to the original English page when it expires, you need to manually set each translated page to draft and then apply the redirect. Here’s how you can do it:
1. Go to the listing list on your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Use the top admin language switcher to select the language of the translation you want to update (Spanish or French).
3. Find the listing that has expired and set it to draft, just as you did with the English version.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I have a real estate sales website in English with listing pages for each property. I have translated pages of those listings for both Spanish and French using WPML. If a listing expires without being sold, I move the actual listing to a draft and redirect the link to our main listings page. I am using WordPress with the Houzez real estate template, 301 redirect, and my domain host is SiteGround.

Symptoms:
The translated pages don't redirect when the original listing is moved to draft, and the translated listing pages remain active.

Questions:
How do I shut down translated pages when the original listing expires?
How can I redirect translated listing pages back to my main page?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. The state of the pages is independent and you will need to do the same draft > redirect to listing steps for the translated listings.

Go to the listing list on WordPress Dashboard and from the top admin language switcher select the second languages. Find the listing that you do not want to have anymore and set it to draft.

Thanks.

Thank you so much Christopher. Your answer resolved many issues for me that I was going to ask about next. I did not know I could access the translated pages there independently. This was a game changer for me.
