At the moment we are implementation a custom AI translation service with n8n. We are using our own workflow with own LLM.
We created our own plugin to handle a translation job. But with this setup we are using the classic translation editor, but our client normally is using the Advanced translation editor. Is there a way to still use the (ATE) with a custom implementation as we described? Should this be done using WPML API if possible? If you need more info please ask, of course it is a bit technical.
Right now, it’s not possible to integrate your own AI translation tool within ATE. Our setup is heavily tied to the automated translation services that we currently support.
Please also note that at the moment, translations done in the Classic Translation Editor are not automatically synchronized into ATE when switching the preferred translation editor. ATE operates with its own translation memory.
