Too many database queries

omarA-71	Background of the issue: I noticed there are duplicate queries coming from WPML. And high amount of database queries from Plugin: sitepress-multilingual-cms. On home page, I see 248 database queries. On shop page, almost 300. On other pages, it shows 200 queries. This seems to be a lot of queries for the plugin. Also there are around 20-30 duplicate WPML calls/queries according to Query Monitor. Symptoms: Too many database queries Questions: Please advise. There should be less.

Would it be possible to check if the issue happens in a minimal setup, meaning: - switch to a WP default theme - keep active only WPML / WCML plugins and must-have plugins - disable all other plugins After, check if the issue is still happening. Note: Please ensure you have a full backup (files & database) before trying anything on your website. If the issue persists please check the instructions from this errata. omarA-71	No change has been made. The table itself had only 1 entry: WPML\TM\ATE\Sitekey\Endpoint:a:0:{} If you take a minute and check what the query plugin shows, many are duplicates coming from WPML and honestly sort of unncessary queries.

Marsel Nikolli	Hi, Could you please update to the latest version of WPML and also update any other plugin that might require updating and check again if there is any change? * Note: Please make sure you have a full backup of your website before making any updates/changes to your website. Marsel Nikolli	Hi, Thank you for the update. To further troubleshoot the issue I would require a copy of your website to test it locally and further escalate the issue if needed. You can use the Duplicator plugin to create a copy of your website and upload the backup on a file-sharing website (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), please send me the link to download the backup after. * Please try to minimize the size of the backup file by excluding unnecessary media files or backup folders that might be in the "/wp-content/" folder.
