Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate widgets and footer on my website, but they are not being auto-translated along with the rest of my content. You can see the issue on this page: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The CTA widget, footer widgets, and bottom footer remain in English instead of being translated.
Questions:
Why are the widgets and footer not being auto-translated?
How can I ensure the widgets and footer are translated along with the rest of the content?
Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Please note that WPML's 'Translate Everything Automatically' mode automatically translates posts, pages, and custom post types. However, widgets are translated through the WPML >> String Translation page. You need to select the widget or other strings in WPML >> String Translation and send them for automatic translation. Here are the steps:
1. Go to WPML >> String Translation page.
2. Scroll down and click on the Translate texts in admin screens » link at the bottom of the page(screenshot attached).
3. Search for the required string one by one.
4. Select the string.
5. Click on the Add to String Translation button.
6. Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link.
7. Add the translation from WPML >> String Translation page or send the strings for automatic translation by following the below doc: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/#sending-strings-to-translators
