This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You are experiencing issues with WPML after installing it to work with Elementor. Specifically, you encounter errors indicating that the translation is stuck or takes a long time to complete when exiting Elementor or during SEO work. Additionally, saving changes in quick succession on the home page causes synchronization conflicts. Solution: We recommend waiting a moment after clicking "Save" on the primary language page before proceeding. The Advanced Translation Editor requires time to process the changes on the primary page and synchronize them with the translated page. Clicking "Save" multiple times in quick succession can lead to conflicts in the synchronization process.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues and verify that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for further assistance. You can do so at WPML support forum.
This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.
Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.
Background of the issue:
I was working on designs with Elementor and encountered issues related to WPML. I recently installed WPML, and although I received support for some previous issues, I couldn't fully understand how they were resolved. WPML is affecting the site's optimization and workflow efficiency. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
When I exit Elementor, I get an error saying 'translation is stuck 125925997'. During SEO work, the translation process starts automatically and takes a long time to complete. If I switch to another page, I receive a 'wait 59 minutes' error message because the previous translation process hasn’t finished yet.
Questions:
What steps can we take to resolve these issues?
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
hi
It happens when I click save on the home page several times in a row, and it becomes difficult to know when and how to do it.You saw the mistake in the picture, what is your opinion on that subject?
Please try waiting a moment after clicking "Save" on the primary language page. The Advanced Translation Editor needs time to process the changes on the primary page and sync them with the translated page.
