Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a Link field from ACF using WPML. I have installed and enabled the Advanced Custom Fields Multilingual plugin, set the 'Translation preferences' setting to 'Translate' for the link field, resaved the field group and page, searched for the field in 'Custom Fields Translation' in WPML settings, and completed an old translation job to generate a new one. I also tried adding a new link field with the same settings but a different slug, and it was detected by the Advanced Translation Editor.
Symptoms:
The Link field from ACF does not appear in the Advanced Translation Editor, neither the title nor the URL.
Questions:
What can I do to find that old link field in Editor?
I've reviewed the issue you're experiencing and would like to investigate it further. To do so, I'd like to replicate your site on my local environment. Could you please zip the wp-content directory along with a backup of your database and share them via a file-sharing platform?
I've enabled a private reply for your convenience.
I’ve tried testing this multiple times, and I can only seem to reproduce the issue when the theme is enabled. I’ve even separated the code for the block to test it separately.
Could you try this for me? Go to your theme folder -> inc -> Config, and rename the acf-json folder once. Then, make a small edit on the page. If this helps, it did for me on my test site.
