[Resolved] Administrators other than I can't translate...
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client wants all administrators to be able to use all parts of WPML, but they encounter an error message saying 'sorry you are not authorized to access this page' when trying to access certain WPML features. Solution: 1. Navigate to
WPML > Translation Management > Translators
and check if the administrators are listed as Translation Managers or Translators. If they are, remove them from the list and verify access again. 2. Check for any restriction plugins that might be limiting access to WPML features. If found, disable these plugins and try again. 3. If the problem persists, reset the WPML admin capabilities by following the guide provided in the support forum: Resetting WPML Admin Capabilities.
If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML Support Forum.

Before this thread is assigned to my colleague, I’d like to offer some initial guidance and possible solutions.
If the role is set to Administrator, there should be no restrictions on accessing WPML features. However, please follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Go to "WPML > Translation Management > Translators" and check if the Administrators are listed as Translation Managers or Translators. If they are, please remove them from the list and check again.
2. If the issue persists, verify whether any restriction plugin on your site might be causing the problem. If you identify such a plugin, disable it and check again.
3. If the issue still persists, reset the WPML admin capabilities by following the solution mentioned in the response linked below, and see if that resolves the issue.
Hello and thank you for your answer.
I think there's an issue with the plugin cause I can't even remove a translator from the list. When I click on the X next to their name, they disappear well but if I refresh the page or go on another and go back to it, they reappeared in the list.
this happens since the new feature where I have to specify who's gonna translate when setting the plugin, that's not a good feature at all.. It wasn't the case before. It was way easier before that feature
1) WPML does not restrict any part of its plugin, it should work normally. I see you are using 3rd party plugin for this and are probably restricting some part for your users/roles in that way. (Restrict User Access ). I advise you to adjust it to your need or remove it so your other user can also normally use it.
2) Removing the translator should work fine, could be something else that is blocking WPML from making changes. Please disable any cache system you or any security plugins, might be blocking WPML.
1- I have deactivated Restrict User Access and tried again but it still doesn't work.
2- It didn't work before adding them as translator, I tried to add them to fix this in the first place and now I can't remove them. I have no cache or security plugin.

can you please share the steps you do and what goes wrong and I will check it out? For translators let me know which one you wish to remove and I will also check it out.
Please share the access details of your website, so I can log in and take a look.

it seems your user capabilities were corrupted, mostly likely by some restricted plugin, so you will need to reset them following this guide. I have done this with my user and it works fine now.
