[Resolved] Advanced Translation Editor stuck on ‘Almost there! Preparing your editor…’

Background of the issue:
I am trying to open the Advanced Translation Editor to translate existing posts from Spanish into English. I click Translate in WPML → Translation Management → Jobs.

Symptoms:
The editor never finishes loading and remains stuck on 'Almost there! Preparing your editor…'.

Questions:
Why is the Advanced Translation Editor not loading?
How can I resolve the issue of the editor being stuck on 'Almost there! Preparing your editor…'?
