This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
After activating WPML, the client's Elementor editor is not loading. The issue seems to be related to some user capabilities, because they were able to make it work with a new user created for us for testing.

Solution:
There's no solid solution or reason could be found, because existing users had correct capabilities when investigated. But we suggested following workarounds:

A. Create a new admin user and use that for managing the site.

Or
B. Ensure all users have their first and last names filled in their profiles.
- Add the user as a translator in WPML under WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators. If a translator already exists, remove them and add them again with the correct language pairs, ensuring their profile is complete.

Or
C. Follow the solution provided in this support thread, adjusting the user ID as necessary for the user experiencing the issue.

If this solution does not seem relevant to your situation, please open a new support ticket with us for further assistance.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support. I am assigned this ticket and 'll try my best to help you fix the problem.

I just tried hidden link in your site and I was able to see the Elementor loading fine (see attached).

Can you check again after clearing all caches (browser and WP Rocket)?

Besides this, I see that Elementor and Elementor Pro needs an update, please remember to update these to the latest version, after taking a fresh backup of your site and database.

Please let me know and I'll try my best to help you further on the matter.

Regards.

Thank you for the updates.

Can you please record your screen to show what's exactly happening?

Also, have you updated the Elementor plugins to the latest?

Please let me know.

I deactivated all the plugins and activated them again to check where exactly the issue it!
the issue is with events and elementor kit plugin!
when i deactivate these two elementor editor loads fine but when i activate any the issue comes again!

i think the issue is that i am using Elementor Kit menu on my website and my menu is currently not translated into a second language which i added in WPML, and i also did not translate anything in eventin into a second language.

Can you please tell me if i am correct or if the issue is with something else?

Thank you for the updates and waiting on this.

I checked again and can find it working perfectly fine - see my screen recording hidden link

ElementsKit Lite (https://wpml.org/plugin/elementskit/) was enabled already, while I also activated Eventin plugin after updating it.

Although there's a JS error coming from Elementor, but still editor works just fine.

Eventin, however, isn't on our compatibility list (https://wpml.org/plugin/?wpv_view_count=120064&wpv-plugin-functionality=0&wpv_post_search=Eventin&wpv-wpcf-recommendation-flag=&wpv_filter_submit=Search). So if you think the issue is coming from this plugin, then please check with their support and let me know any related technical info you receive.

Perhaps that user's capabilities have been compromised. However, no sure about it. But you can try following workarounds:

A) Create a new admin user like you did for us and continue using that.

B) Make sure all users have first/last names filled in their profiles.
- Add the user as a translator in WPML -> Translation Management -> Translators.
- If there's an existing one, remove that and add again with proper language pairs (but make sure their profile has first/last names filled correctly).

C) Try the solution from this thread https://wpml.org/forums/topic/additional-users-within-admin-role-do-not-get-correct-permissions/#post-14261843. Make sure to adjust user ID to the user you want to fix for.
