ATE is not working with nbsp

olegA-5	ATE seems to interpret a non-breaking space ( ) as a regular space. When translating to French, there is a need in non-breaking spaces, because without them a colon, a semicolon may be transfered to a next line, since there is (and should be) a space before them. To avoid it, non-breaking spaces are used, i.e. instead of regular spaces there are 's inserted before colons and semicolons. When I insert a , the ATE shows a space (that is right because visually there shold be exactly it), but in the frontend I see just a regular space, but not a non-breaking space. So, the question is how to input non-breaking spaces while translating via the ATE (for them to be exactly non-breaking spaces in the frontend)?
