I'm trying to figure out why product attributes for these pages aren't getting displayed on the front-end. The customer added some more attributes and translated them fine. They're visible on the backend but not the front end. hidden link is the Dutch version and the first attribute has four options. And if you switch to the English page and check the first option then there's only two sizes. But they're all visible on the backend.
There is a lock icon on the translated page on the attributes if that makes a difference.

So I made a backup and ran that tool in troubleshooting but it doesn't seem to have made a difference since I still don't have the attributes visible on the English page 🙁

Hello Rosanne,
I hope you're doing well.

I have checked the entire conversation you had with my colleague and I will be happy to assist you from here.

The variations might not display correctly in the translated product if the attributes are not properly synchronized across other languages. Since you've mentioned that your customer added more attributes to the product later, can you please ensure that after adding the attribute to the product, the translation of the product has also been updated?

If it is updated, could you please try the following steps and see if they help to solve the issue?

- Please go to "WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual > Attributes" tab
- Select the "kies-de-maat" attribute from the dropdown and ensure that the terms within the Attribute are translated properly.
- Now, if you scroll down to the end, you'll find a button to Synchronize the Attributes. Click on that and wait till the process gets completed.

If the issue persists even after that, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause of the issue.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please backup site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Looking forward to your response.

Hello There,
Thanks for sharing the access information.

I have checked that particular product and found that you have used Custom Attribute there and created variations from them. Since the recommended way is to use global attributes to avoid any issues, would you please check if the same happens or not if you create a Global Attribute and make the variations from it? Here are the steps to follow.

- Create a Global Attribute and Terms by going to the "Product > Attribute" section.
- Now, open the product in the editor and go to the "Attribute section
- Delete the custom attributes and add the Global attribute by selecting it from the "Add existing" dropdown(Screenshot: hidden link). Save the changes.
- After that, create the variations from the Attribute terms and save changes.
- Once done, update the translation.

Please let me know how it goes. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

The customer noticed a big problem. Before only the page I shared had problems but maybe because of the things we've done to fix it the other pages are missing synced attributes now as well. Can you take a look and see if they can be brought back?

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I wanted to clarify that Custom Attributes are specific to each product they are created for. Therefore, if you remove a Custom Attribute from one product, it will not affect other products. This would only be the case if you were using Global Attributes across multiple products.

However, upon reviewing other products on your website, I observed that the variations are correctly displayed. I specifically examined the following products:

- hidden link
- hidden link

Could you please specify which products you are experiencing issues with? I will check and assist you accordingly.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
