This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue with automatically translating URLs as mentioned in the WPML documentation. They are inquiring about when this bug will be fixed and if there are any available workarounds.
Solution:
We requested the client to provide debug information to better understand the specifics of the issue, which can be provided using the instructions found here: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/.
We clarified that while internal links should automatically translate and display correctly in the second language, manual translation of internal links within buttons via the ATE WPML editor is currently not supported. We are working on this feature, but there is no exact estimated time of arrival; it is tentatively scheduled for approximately one month from now.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I am going to answer his question before the ticket is assigned to one of my colleagues.

Would you please provide the debug information?

https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Also, I will need to know what happens with the button link translation and which plugin button are we are talking about.

If you give us more information we will have a better idea.

Finally, I'd appreciate it if you could give me the URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard after you make sure that you have a backup of your website.
It is absolutely important that you give us a guarantee that you have a backup so if something happens you will have a point of restore.

Make sure you set the next reply as private.

Thanks Christopher [for some reason the system made me post a private message previous]

Really we just need to know when you'll be fixing the below bug (bug of WPML) that is mentioned on this page: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-links/

Below is the bug that's mentioned on the above linked page:

There is a known issue with translating internal links inside buttons, calls to actions, and other similar blocks. While we fix this, please ask our support for help.

Hello,

thanks for getting back. Just to clarify things, internal links are automatically translated and the correct translated internal link should be shown in 2nd language, if not then this is not correct and we should check what happens and goes wrong.

What you asked related to a message from the FAQ page, is when the client wants to manually translate internal links inside buttons, etc, via ATE WPML editor, that is not possible for now. I can not tell the exact ETA since it depends on many things and tests, but for now, it is scheduled for approximately one month.

Let me know if any other doubts.

Regards,
Drazen
