Background of the issue:
I am trying to manually update some sections from my translated page. The issue can be seen at hidden link

Symptoms:
The content I saved is not being displayed on the page. I expected to see: 'Our journey began in 1995 as REDES, founded by Manuel Rodriguez Woog(†) and CEO Guido Lara. Their shared passion and expertise in understanding and improving the social world led to the creation of an independent project dedicated to making a positive impact.' Instead, I got: 'Our project was born in 1995 as REDES when Manuel Rodriguez Woog(†) and our CEO Guido Lara started an independent project where they combined their passions and competence to understand the social world in order to interact with it and improve it.'

Questions:
Why is the updated content not displaying on the translated page?
How can I ensure the changes are reflected on the page?

Hi There!
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. Sorry for the delay in responding due to the weekend.

Before this thread gets assigned to my colleague, I'd like to offer some initial guidance or potential solutions.

From the screenshot, I can see the translation status of the Page is "In-progress", which typically appears when the translator exits the Translation Editor without saving the translation or completing any segments. It essentially indicates that the translation is still incomplete.

I also noticed a memory exhaustion error in the screenshot, which could be contributing to the problem. Additionally, the WPML Debug Info shows that the memory limit and max_execution_time are currently set below the recommended levels. Could you please try the following steps to see if they help resolve the issue?

- Increase the PHP memory limit to the recommended value or higher (256M or more) by following this guide: https://developer.wordpress.org/advanced-administration/wordpress/wp-config/#increasing-memory-allocated-to-php

- Raise the max_execution_time to at least 300 seconds by following this guide: hidden link

- Save the changes and restart your web server if necessary.

After applying these changes, check if the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, please try these steps:

- Please go to `WPML > Support > Troubleshooting`.
- Click on the following buttons:

-- Clear the cache in WPML
-- Fix element_type collation
-- Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
-- Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
-- Assign translation status to duplicated content
-- Set language information
-- Fix post-type assignment for translations

- Once done, please follow the instructions in this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/translation-status-stuck-or-displaying-the-error-wpml-didnt-manage-to-translate-this-page/

- Try to translate the page again and see if it is getting completed.

If the issue persists, please navigate to "WPML > Support > Advanced Translation Editor > Error Logs". Take a screenshot of that page, ensuring all columns and recent errors are clearly visible, and share it in your next response. I'll review it and provide further guidance.

Let us know the update. We'll be happy to help if you need further assistance.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
