This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client inquired about the expiration date for the

wp-wpml_current_language

cookie.
Solution:
We informed the client that the duration of the

wp-wpml_current_language

cookie can be configured in WPML. To set this up, navigate to WPML > Languages and select the option "Remember visitors' language preference for 24 hours". Here, you can enter 24 or multiples of it to define the duration.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we encourage you to check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and ensure that you have the latest versions of themes and plugins installed. Should you need further assistance, please feel free to open a new support ticket in the WPML support forum.

Hi there.

I'm double checking on this matter with my colleagues from a different department, too, just to make sure I share with you the most accurate information.

I will get back to you as soon as I have an update.

I'm leaving the ticket assigned to myself for now.

I'm back.

It seems that the duration can be set up in WPML > Languages > "Remember visitors' language preference for 24 hours" (please enter 24 or multiples of it).

That should work fine.

Please let me know how things go.
