Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the navigation menu I just translated on my WordPress site. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
Instead of seeing the translated navigation menu, no menu is displayed on the 'es' page after translation.

Questions:
Why is the translated navigation menu not displaying on the 'es' page?
How can I fix the issue of the missing menu after translation?
