Background of the issue:
I have a custom post type called Case Studies that we translated to French Canadian using WPML and BLEND translating service. The custom post type is set through the plugin, Advanced Custom Fields. We want to translate the 'case-study' portion of the URL to 'étude de cas'.
Symptoms:
The URL is currently site.com/fr-CA/case-study/example, and we want to change 'case-study' to 'étude de cas'. We've tried updating it manually but it breaks unless it's set to case-study. I imagine because we don't have this custom post type duplicated, only to translate the posts.
Questions:
Would duplicating the custom post type entail sending the case studies through the Translation Manager, hitting 'duplicate' and sending them through again?
Could we just click 'duplicate' somewhere else like in the Advanced Custom Fields side?
