WPML create duplicate for my second and third language.
We are using a synced stock with Netsuite, we cannot have different ID's per language.
How can I disable this "duplication" option"? I just want to translate current product and NOT create another product for each language. (I have no idea why someone would do that, it is a nightmare in terms of stock management...)
I think this bug could be linked with Categories translation
Thank you for reaching out to WPML Support.
Firstly, I'd like to reassure you that there isn't an issue of concern in your situation.
Here's how WPML handles product translation: it creates a new product for each language with a different ID. In simpler terms, if you have "Product A" in English with ID 1, its German translation, "Product A" in German, would have a separate ID, say 2. This applies to all languages on your website.
However, please note that these translations don't impact your stock management. They aren't treated as entirely new products; they're simply translations of the original product. The translations of a product work synchronized with the original product, any change made to it will affect the translations as well.
If you're seeing all the translations on the product page, it's likely because the "All languages" option is selected on your WordPress dashboard (you can see it in the attachment). To manage products correctly, switch this option to your website's default language.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.
Kind regards,
Marsel
