This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is trying to disable the auto-translate feature on their site but is unsure how to proceed since their translation editor is set to Classic mode, which does not provide an option to change the translation mode.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Navigate to WPML > Settings.
2. Under Translation Mode, click on Change Mode.
3. Choose 'Translate what you choose', then save your changes.
However, if you are using the Advanced Translation Editor and have automatic translation credits, content might still be translated automatically. In such cases, you can revert the translation by clicking the "Undo Translation" button in the Translation Editor.
We also confirmed that with the Classic Translation Editor selected, automatic translation should not be active, and no content should be automatically translated.
If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If issues persist, please open a new support ticket.
