[Resolved] Divi Pixel Custom Menu CTA Button Does Not Show
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You've translated most of your site's pages, but the Divi Pixel menu CTA button isn't appearing on the translated pages, despite using String Translation. You've confirmed that Divi Pixel is compatible with WPML and other modules are working correctly. Solution: We recommend you go to WPML-> String Translation and translate the specific string for the Divi Pixel menu CTA button. If this issue persists, it might be due to outdated information or a unique case not covered here. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I've translated nearly all the pages on my site, but I'm struggling with the Divi Pixel menu CTA button, which isn't showing up on the translated pages. I translated it using String Translation, but it still doesn’t appear on the front end. According to the developer, Divi Pixel, a third-party Divi plugin, is fully compatible with WPML. I've successfully translated other Divi Pixel modules, and they work fine.
Symptoms:
The Divi Pixel menu CTA button does not show up on the translated pages.
Questions:
Why is the Divi Pixel menu CTA button not showing up on the translated pages?
Is there a specific step I might be missing in the String Translation process for the Divi Pixel menu CTA button?
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.
1) I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
❌ Please backup your database and website ❌
✙ I need your permission to deactivate and reactivate the plugins and themes and change site configurations. This is also why the backup is critical.
✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.
2) Could you please share your Debug information with me?
You can read a detailed explanation about it here. (http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support)
The debug info will give me a lot of information about how your site is configured.
1) Thanks for the access details. Would you please let me know where to edit this button in the default language? I checked the hidden link">header template, but I couldn't find the button.
2) It's not related to the issue, but according to your Debug.info, the WP memory limit needs to be increased. PHP memory is fine, but WordPress uses 40Mb as default. The minimum requirements for WPML are 128 MB. (Kindly check this page https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/)
You can increase it by adding the following code in your wp-config.php file right before the /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ line:
The button is inserted by a plugin called Divi Pixel. It's translated via String Translation. It is set up under Dashboard > Divi > Divi Pixel > General Setting > Header and Navigation
