This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with the layout, pictures, and menu getting mixed up when switching the website to English after attempting to auto-translate the homepage. The client is considering asking for a refund and switching to a compatible theme before repurchasing WPML.
Solution:
We recommend creating a full website backup and then trying the manual translation method that our colleague presented in the following forum topic: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/colibiri-wp-theme/. This suggestion is based on the fact that the current theme is not marked as compatible with WPML, and it might be partially compatible.

If the client decides to proceed with a refund, they can send a refund request from their WPML account here: https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/. Please note that we only offer technical support on the forum and do not have access to process refunds.

Please be aware that the solution provided might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket in the WPML support forum: https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/.

I tried auto translating the homepage, as you can see. But when i switch website to english. The layout, pictures and menu are getting mixed up.
Whats the best thing to do? Ask for a refund and first switch to a compatible theme before i buy WPML again? Switching will take me a lot of time as well, so thats why im thinking of a refund first.

Thank You,

William

Hi William.

Maybe, before asking for a refund, you can create a full website backup and then try the steps that my colleague recommended here:
https://wpml.org/forums/topic/colibiri-wp-theme/

That's the best recommendation I can make based on the fact that this plugin is not marked as compatible with WPML at the moment. It could be partially compatible and might work in the manual translation method that my colleague presented, but I don't know for sure.

I hope that you will find this information helpful. 🙂

Hi there and welcome back!

You should be able to send a refund request from under your WPML account here and our "Accounts" team will process it afterward:
https://wpml.org/purchase/refunds/

We only offer technical support here, on the forum, we don't have access to refund customers.
