Thank you for reaching out. Please note that translations will not update automatically unless there are changes made to the primary language. If you've modified the content of the primary language page, the automatic translation will apply those updates to the secondary languages.
If you prefer to disable this automatic process, you can turn off the "Translate Everything Automatically" option in **WPML > Translation Management**.
I'm not so sure what's going on there and I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, we only offer live chat and ticketing for support. Please try opening a live chat and one of my colleagues will assist you further with this. But if you wish to continue on this ticket, feel free to share your Website WP admin access credentials here and I will check this out for you as quickly as possible. Please remember to backup first before sharing the credentials.
our big issue is with automatic update on the translation . especially for this articles.
hidden link
When the auuthors change something in the Germqan version , some of the french and italien part will be channegd to german.
the other issue is with the serie: for eg. the serie here (hidden link) is false and we tried to replace it but it will automatically change it or sometimes book in two series, .....
Thank you for your response. I’ve reviewed the article at hidden link , and in the backend editor, it appears that the "WordPress Editor" is being used as shown in the attached screenshot, which indicates the content was translated manually. It doesn’t seem to be using WPML’s automatic translation feature.
Would you mind recording a short screen capture to show the issue you're experiencing?
Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I'm confused here. Let's focus on one issue at the moment, then, when it is solved, we will move to another one.
I'm reviewing the issue "Translations are being updated automatically, which I want to stop.". Could you tell me how do I replicate this issue? Which post did you edit? Could you share the link here?
