This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client needs to redesign their English website and wants to delete all French pages to clone the English designs. They are looking for a way to download their current Translation Memory or translations before deleting the French pages so they can re-upload the content later.
Solution:
We recommend several methods to accomplish this:
1. Export the multilingual content using WP All Export and WPML. For detailed instructions, please refer to the documentation: Export multilingual websites using WP All Export and WPML.
2. Use WPML's export and import feature. You can find more information here: WPML export and import.
3. Transfer WPML translations from one site to another with WP Sheet Editor. The guide is available at: Transfer WPML translations with WP Sheet Editor.

Please note that the solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If so, we highly recommend checking related known issues at WPML Known Issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket: Contact WPML Support.

This is the technical support forum for WPML - the multilingual WordPress plugin.

Everyone can read, but only WPML clients can post here. WPML team is replying on the forum 6 days per week, 22 hours per day.

Hello,

We have to re-design our English site, which means of course the French will need changing as well.

Our translations have all been made, but we need to delete all our French pages in order to clone the English designs, and then re-upload translations.

Is there a way to download our current Translation Memory or current translations before we delete French pages in order to upload the content later?

Hi there.

This can be accomplished with multiple methods.

Please take a look over the URLs below:

I hope that you will find all that information helpful.
