[Closed] Elementor button links are updating during duplication

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to duplicate my English website to several other English websites, split for different regions (Australia, New Zealand, Canada). I've tried to fully duplicate the pages as well as assign for 'Translation'. During this process, I expected the Elementor button links to automatically update to the correct region. Symptoms:
The Elementor button links never update during duplication. Instead of the correct regional links, I get default English links. For example, being on the /en-au/ page should have button links pointing to /en-au/ versions, but they don't.

Questions:
Why are the Elementor button links not updating to the correct regional versions during duplication?
How can I ensure that the button links automatically update to the correct region during the duplication process?
