Background of the issue:
I'm trying to export translated Elementor pages from one site (source site = hidden link) to another site (destination site = hidden link). I am using the plugins 'All Export Pro', 'All Import Pro', and 'WPML Export and Import'. The destination site has been created from a backup of the source site before any translations were created in the source site. I have followed these instructions, to prepare my source and destination sites: hidden link. I have followed this instruction regarding how to use WPML together with All Export Pro and All Import Pro: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-export-and-import/#supported-export-import-plugins. I have followed these instructions to migrate pages, but without any success: hidden link, hidden link. I have studied the article below describing a developer team who was forced to develop and use a lot of custom migration scripts to make a similar operation work - Not what I had expected: hidden link

Symptoms:
The page content seems to have been migrated correctly (text and images), but the page layout is broken in the destination site.

Questions:
I would like to know if what I'm trying to do is supported or not?
If yes, how to make it work?

Hi There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand that the Elementor layout on the destination site is not displaying correctly. Regenerating the CSS and files from Elementor often helps resolve the issue, but furthermore, following the instructions outlined in hidden link">this guide could potentially solve the problem.

I would like to inquire if the issue you're experiencing is limited to the default language or if it is happening only in the translation. I would also like to know what happens when you export the contents from one site to another without the WPML plugin installed. Do you also experience the same issue? The reason for asking this is to determine whether the WPML plugin is genuinely influencing or contributing to the issue you're facing.

If you're encountering the problem even without the WPML plugin, it's likely that some configurations were missed before exporting. Please review the guides of the plugins you've used for content export, and then try to generate the export file again. If you're using the WP All Export it is better to consult with the plugin support to ensure that everything related to Elementor is included in the export file.

Please also make sure to export the 'default site kit' from the source site and import it to your destination site, as it holds essential Elementor design details.

Keep in mind that certain layout and style information might be stored in the database. Therefore, you might also need to export the database from the source site and import it onto your destination site to ensure all necessary data is transferred accurately.

Please let me know how it goes.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
