Background of the issue:
I accidentally switched on the automatic translations when adding WPML to our page, which caused unnecessary translations of strings, templates, and slugs. I restored our whole web from a backup.
Symptoms:
The translations are still showing, and the system is not allowing any modifications, rejections, reviews, or edits of the translations.
Questions:
Is the correct process now to uninstall all the WPML plugins, delete the site from our account at wpml.org, and then reinstall it all?
