Hi Kor,

Thanks for looking into this. I do however still have some questions;

1. Why do I need to translate the header template? Can't I translate it using the WPML translation page?

2. Could you also look into my FAQ section issue? A FAQ loop template isn't correctly 'translated' from ENG to NL and taxonomies are missing when updating other (NL ELementor) content.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your patience.

Could you tell me a little bit more about the FAQ section issue? Maybe you can share some links and screenshots of the issue?

Hey Kor,

Thanks for the follow-up.
I (as a developer) am not sure yet how this bug is happening and how I can reproduce it but it happens a lot of times.

Steps to try:
1. When editing the NL or ENG homepage (try both!!) in Elementor and am going to this section.
2. I want to pre-filter a "Loop Grid" on a taxonomy term.
3. The FAQ post type has translatable custom taxonomy: categories. These categories should be shown here.
4. Sometimes no taxonomies are shown, sometimes the ENG categories in the NL homepage or vice versa.

When I edit or publish the ENG page and wait for the WPML auto translate job to sync it to the NL version, the NL version will have no FAQ items since the filters are reset. Then I have to manually do the above steps for the NL page.
Hope this screenshot helps.

Thanks for your reply.

Could you update Elementor Pro so that I can recheck?

Seems to be working fine now as shown in the attached screenshot. I can't even search for Dutch categories before the update. Now it works. Could you check?

Hi Kor,

I checked it directly but for me somehow it just still does not work.. Please open the ENG Elementor homepage and try loading these filters.

It should always have a term already selected and other terms should be find-able.

EN: hidden link
NL: hidden link

If the one works, the other most of the time doesn't work and vice-versa. When editing or publishing, after a refresh it could be otherwise.

Looks like an Elementor bug. Try pasting the entire category name on the search and see if it works for you as shown in the attached screenshot.

Wauw.. I am doing the exact same thing but I am not getting the same result..

It looks like some loading issues, related to WPML? The elementor builder loading takes some time and the edit screen will load a few times as well. But trying to reproduce your screenshot doesn't work.. Can you look into this?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it's taking some time to load the Elementor Page builder. Maybe you can check with Elementor support about the loading speed.

As for the categories, I guess it's some browser cache. It seems to work as shown in this screen recording hidden link
