This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue where the Gravity Form confirmation message was appearing twice in French, but only once in English on their 'Auditions' page.

Solution:
We discovered that the 'Auditions' page had the same form added twice. We removed the second occurrence of the form, saved the changes, and updated the translation. This resolved the issue, and now the confirmation message appears only once in both languages.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we recommend opening a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I am trying to show people who fill in the form their confirmation message only once on my site hidden link

Symptoms:
Gravity Form confirmation message appearing twice in French.

Questions:
The text for the confirmation message is in there once. And yet when you fill in the form, you see it twice if you're filling in the form in french. In english the confirmation message shows up once.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the support.

I just tried in your site and can see the problem. I'm afraid something is causing a conflict and 'll need to investigate more in detail.

By any chance, do you have a staging or test site available where this can be reproduced? As a starting point we'll need to check with only WPML plugins and Gravity Forms while deactivating all other plugins. This isn't recommend for live sites as it can compromised the site and the data.

I've enabled your next reply as private to share the access to the test or staging site safely.

IMPORTANT: Please take a complete backup of the site to avoid data loss.

See https://wpml.org/purchase/support-policy/privacy-and-security-when-providing-debug-information-for-support/ for details on privacy and security.

Regards.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I was able to find the issue, actually the page "Auditions" had the same form added twice (see attached). So I simply deleted the 2nd occurrence of the form, saved and updated the translation.

Now this is working fine on the frontend (i.e. only one confirmation message).

Okay. I see how that might have happened. The site is really slow and adding the Gravity Form block sometimes times out. Or at least the preview never appears.

I suspect I opened the page, didn't see the form, then added the form again.
